Wudang Taijiquan

The art of Tai Chi is considered the highest form of martial arts. This internal system of listening and sensitivity offers the student longevity and softness. Taught with Qigong, rooting postures, and application, this unique style of Tai Chi is directly from the sacred Wudang Mountains.

Although Taijiquan is a long road, martially speaking, it is an art designed to strengthen and preserve the body. Used as a healing practice for injured nerves, joints, and other afflictions, Tai Chi is an excellent choice for students looking for low impact arts, but still wanting a martial foundation.

Practiced with applications, students learn how to utilize the techniques taught, along with developing a strong and stable foundation. Through form, theory, application, drilling of techniques, rooting, and qigong, this form of Taijiquan is a complete experience in the traditional sense.

Tai Chi is accessible by students of all ages, but recommended for those 20-60 years of age. Students are initially introduced to the standard version of the Wudang Sanfeng Pai Taijiquan 13 Postures form, then may venture out into the other forms and practices once skill is established. These other forms may be the Wudang Taijiquan 108, Taijijian (sword), or the advanced version of the 13 postures.

This video is our instructor demonstrating the core form of Wudang Taijiquan.
