Wudang Gongfu

The fluid and esoteric systems of Wu-Tang Kung Fu are a collection of skills unique from any other art, offering aggressive twisting and deep stances. Taught with Qigong, extensive drilling, and application, this unique style of Traditional Wushu is only found at the Wudang Mountains.

Many people see the Wudang system of Kung Fu and assume it is external, due to it’s contrast with Wudang Taijiquan. But the internal workings and advanced skill of these systems are truly a deep road to internal cultivation and the development of physical prowess. Made up of a multitude of sub-systems, each discipline brings a unique skill to the practitioner's toolbox when it comes to martial application and competence.

Practiced with applications, students learn how to utilize the techniques taught, along with developing a strong and stable foundation. Through the Wudang kicking method, forms, theory, application, drilling of techniques, rooting, and qigong, the student will advance though the systems on their own path, focusing on the the particular skill sets of their choice.

Wudang Gongfu is accessible by students under the age of 50, but recommended for those 12-35 years of age. After the completion of Jibenquan (Basic Fist), Fuhuquan (Tiger-Taming Fist), & the Wudang 36 Kicking Methods, students are optioned a variety of paths to take their training. This may be Wudang Sword, the Wudang Taiyi system, or the other internal arts.
