Spring & Autumn Martial Arts
Thank you for stopping by our temporary site. As we are slowly shifting our programming and our classes, please check back often here and at BoundlessWay.org for updates and changes to our class schedules.
Spring & Autumn Martial Arts is Pennsylvania’s premiere Wudang Arts organizations. Led by officially inducted Wudang Daoist Disciple, Michael A. Vollero (Daoist name, 夏崇义), we hope to offer life-betterment practice and martial arts to the community and those traveling here to learn.
Our primary focus is on the Wudang Taijiquan (Tai Chi), Wudang Wuxue (Kung Fu), and Daoist Longevity Practices (Qigong, Daoyin, education) for sustaining a healthy and aware mind and body. Please take a moment to view our various programs and feel free to forward any questions to info@SpringAndAutumn.com.

h Programs & Classes k
The foundational arts of Wudang’s martial systems, Wuxue, 武学, translates to “martial studies.” This is a traditional term for these practices. Our programs start a student with basic martial skills, and students progress through various “gates,” or sub-styles which build on these basics.
This program is high-energy, and high-impact on the body. It is important to begin this training with caution, and a constant awareness of the body. This is our primary martial program, but is recommended only to those between the ages of 14 to 35.

Wuxue Gates Offered:
Jibenquan
(Basic Fist)
Xuangongquan

Wudang is not only the place where Taijiquan was created, but also is the home to one of the world’s most unique styles. Focusing on the idea of Xuanwu (battle between snake and tortoise), the Wudang style offers aggressive stancework, with the twisting and wreathing of a serpent. This style is exceptional for building a strong and health body, while also turning inward for energy and martial skill once setting a foundation in the practice.
This program is encouraged for everyone to participate, with no limitations other than a focused and disciplined mind.
